Canyon County Property Not Showing Taxes??

Listing a property and Missing the Tax Icon, the "T" on your listings? If you enter the parcel number correctly then it should be there. Paragon uses the parcel number of the listing to match the tax record of the property. If a number other than the parcel number is used, like an account number then the icon is not added. Paragon is unable to link the tax record to the listing. Canyon County has an account number that is used by the county. SOME TITLE COMPANIES DO NOT PROVIDE THE CORRECT PARCEL NUMBER. In Paragon Parcel Number is what should be entered in the listing. DO NOT USE THE ACCOUNT NUMBER!

The Tax Icon appears as a red "T" on the listing. If your listing does not include this then the parcel number may have been entered incorrectly.

Here is a Paragon tax report. Notice that there is both a parcel number and an account number. ONLY use the parcel number when entering listings.

***In Paragon Parcel Number is what should be entered in the listing. Canyon County has an account number that is used by the county. ***

Sometimes I use an old listing to more quickly create an instanet account.  One old listing in Canyon County I used recently had the Account Number instead of Parcel Number, which pre-populated my IMLS Residential Input Form where the Parcel Number goes.  Besides double checking that in the future is there a way the system could flag if users so we know it might be incorrect?

Not at this time, but it is a good suggestion and we'll see if there is any way to improve upon this.
