Yahoo Email Issue Resolved

In an attempt to block email spoofing attacks on, and limit spam to, yahoo.com addresses, Yahoo began imposing a stricter email validation policy over the weekend of April 5, 2014. This new policy has resulted in numerous emails to Agents, and their Clients, with Yahoo email addresses not being delivered to the recipient (including Agent CC and BCC’s). Yahoo’s policy change is not limited to Paragon and is affecting most email service providers.

A fix was deployed to the system with no downtime on April 14, 2014.

Email communication within Paragon has been modified to send all messages with a standard “from” address, with the name of the Agent appended to the “from” header. In many email clients, this information will appear as “Agent Name <Email@ParagonMessaging.com>". In addition, email sent via Paragon now includes the “reply-to” field, populated with the email address of the Agent to facilitate correspondence between the agent and the recipient.
